I just completed The Online Student’s User Manual and I give it a thumbs up! I have always been a traditional student in a classroom setting, but after reading this book I really feel learning in an online environment is the best fit for me. I either want to begin a class online or earn another degree online. I was pleased to read about all the available resources and information contained in this book. There are many aspects of a online environment that you may or may not have been aware of, but after reading this book you know all your bases have been covered. It is a great resource to refer back to as well and one I would recommend to family, friends and colleagues. I would highly recommend parents read this as well, it provides excellent resources regarding scholarships, financial aid and information about accredited colleges.
